Air Bags · Visibility/Wiper
Air bags (manufacture unknown) on sept 29, 2018 while driving on a two lane highway at 50 mph, my steering wheel and knee bags inflated for no reason. I applied the brakes and lost sight of the road for several seconds because of the fog on the windshield. When the fog cleared, i could see that i was going to end up in a field and that i had crossed the center line. I tried to back out of the field but could not…

Visibility/Wiper
The wiper speed, while on high is not fast enough for a moderate rainfall. I was caught in a slightly above average downpour on the highway and i had to reduce my speed by almost 40mph to get a little visibility back. All other vehicles near me flew right past with their wipers on high without any issue. They need to speed up the wiper motor.

I believe this is a serious safety hazard. I contacted toyota and their action is put my remarks on file. I recently purchased a 2000 toyota tundra. The drivers side visor dropped down upon driving over slight bumps on the highway affecting my vision of the highway. This has happened multiple times since i purchased the vehicle. Diminished and unexpected vision while driving is very hazardous. I've looked for an adjustment on the visor but i found none. I looked online for assistance for this issue and it appears many…

Visibility/Wiper
I have a fiberglass cap on the bed of my pickup truck. When it rains or snows, or during any inclement weather, i can not see out the back window of the cap. There is no wiper for the back window.. All suv type vehicles have a wiper, but not truck caps. Why? I understand that your fmvss no. 111, rear view mirrors, states that i should be able to see out the rear window, to the horizon, clearly. Without a wiper that…
